Get to know Steve Bear, Stevinson Toyota East's New General Manager

Image
Have you met Steve Bear, Stevinson Toyota East's new General Manager? Hi.  I’m Steve Bear and I am a Colorado native from the Denver area. This marks my 25 th  year in the automotive industry.  Along with the knowledge I’ve accrued along the way, I think the one thing that I bring to Stevinson is my passion for taking care of the customer during AND after the sale. I have realized over the years that you only get one shot to make a lasting impression. I have many customers whom I know on a first-name basis that continue to purchase and service their vehicles with me and would not go anywhere else. Building that trust is what keeps me motivated. I am no longer married but have two wonderful adult children. My son is 23 and my daughter just turned 21. We also have two dogs. In my free time, I love to squeeze in a round of golf, visit my parents as often as I can, and take in the scariest movie my son and daughter convince me to see (they love to see...

The Toyota Prius Prime continues to earn recognition for its outstanding efficiency. Most recently, the Prius Prime was awarded the  2017 World Green Car Award at the New York International Auto Show . As you can imagine, the whole team at Stevinson Toyota East was excited to hear this news, as was Jack Hollis, group vice president and general manager of Toyota division, who said: It is a great honor to see the Prius Prime named World Green Car. For global automakers like Toyota, this award is a testament to our focus on developing products that both stir the emotions and meet the mobility needs of our customers in all corners of the world. Not the first time in the winner's circle This is the 13th year for the World Car Awards, but it's not the first time Toyota has taken home such an honor. 2017 Toyota Yaris iA

Image
The Scion Legacy When Toyota announced the retirement of its Scion sub-brand in early 2016, the recently launched Scion iA found itself in a unique position. As the brand’s first-ever four-door sedan, the iA boasted the agility and fuel efficiency you’d expect from a subcompact car with the straightforward value Scion has become known for. Thankfully, Toyota has brought the iA (along with the FR-S and iM) into the fold of the main brand. Rebadged as the 2017 Toyota Yaris iA — not to be confused with the Yaris subcompact hatchback — this all-new model carries on the Scion legacy with style. Powertrain and Performance The 2017 Toyota Yaris iA boasts an eager and fuel-efficient powertrain that makes for a highly enjoyable driving experience. The 1.5-liter direct-injected four-cylinder engine produces 106 horsepower and 103 pound-feet of torque. That power is sent to the front wheels through either six-speed manual or automatic transmissions. Either transmission is a...
